About:

Bonda is a South Munda language classified under the Austro-Asiatic language family. It is spoken by the Bonda ethnic group in eastern parts of India. It is also known as Remo or Remosam by the locals. It has become an endangered language as many new generation Bonda youth are learning Odia instead of their native language. Bonda is primarily a spoken language with no traditional writing system.
